Costa Rican National Team
Dyner & Coronado

Daniel Dyner

I started playing volleyball because of my dad. I always wanted to play football (soccer) but when I was 14 he told me that in Costa Rica every single kid played football. So if I wanted to play for my national team I would be better off with volleyball. So I started playing indoor. Fun fact; I started off as a libero haha. I then played for San Jose as a setter/ opposite in the u18 u20 and D1. Then I was called to the u19 and u21 national team and played a couple of tournaments with them. Later on I played for Carthage College as an opposite and won 2 national championships with them at the DIII level. In my third year of university, I started to make my transition to beach. My first tournament was the qualifier to the Pan-American Games u23 and I qualified. After that I have played many NORCECAs, the Central American and Caribbean Games, the Pan-American Games and World Tour.

Jevan Coronado

Jevan Coronado developed his passion for beach volleyball on the courts of Manhattan Beach, California, playing with anyone willing to let him join. Starting at the age of nine, he competed in CBVA tournaments every summer and later spent two years with the USA Beach Volleyball U-19 High Performance team. He then transitioned to indoor volleyball at Long Beach State, where he contributed to two NCAA national championship victories. Now, Jevan has returned to the sand, eager to share the knowledge and experience he’s gained with the next generation of athletes looking to elevate their game and take advantage of the growing number of beach volleyball scholarships.
